IV Convegno Inter(national) Gruppi Simla
Dalla prova scientifica alla prova giuridica in medicina legale e nelle scienze forensi - From evidence to proof in legal medicine and forensic science
Si terrà a Modena, dal 5 al 7 giugno 2025, il IV Convegno Inter(national) Gruppi Simla, che ormai, come da tradizione, si alterna ogni due anni con il Congresso Nazionale della nostra Società Scientifica. Quest’anno il titolo scelto, anche per rispettare l’internazionalità dell’evento sarà: “Dalla prova scientifica alla prova giuridica in medicina legale e nelle scienze forensi“.
Oltre ai rappresentanti dei vari Gruppi Scientifici di Simla, il Congresso Intergruppi vedrà la presenza di alcuni importanti relatori provenienti da tutta Europa ed avrà quindi una inedita veste internazionale. Il Congresso Intergruppi sarà interamente organizzato da Simla e dedicato ai suoi iscritti: un altro motivo in più per aderire alla nostra Società Scientifica.
The Simla Intergroup Congress is scheduled to take place from 5 to 7 June 2025 in Modena. This event, which is held in accordance with tradition every two years, alternates with the National Congress of the Scientific Society. The chosen title for this year, in keeping with the international character of the event, is ‘From Evidence to Proof in legal medicine and forensic science‘.
In addition to representatives of the various Simla Scientific Groups, the Intergruppi Congress will play host to a number of distinguished speakers from across Europe, thus ensuring an unparalleled international framework for the event. It is noteworthy that the Intergruppi Congress will be meticulously organized by Simla and exclusively dedicated to its members, serving as a compelling reason to join our Scientific Society.

La partecipazione al Congresso prevede due tipi di iscrizione: per i soci SIMLA ordinari e aggregati al costo di € 280,00; per soci SIMLA specializzandi o soci SIMLA iscritti alla Consulta Giovani Medici Legali Italiani al costo di € 180,00.
L’iscrizione comprende: coffe break, light lunch, cena di gala, concerto, kit congressuale

Comunicazioni e Poster / Poster and Communications
Durante il Congresso sono previste apposite sezioni in cui verrà dato spazio ad interventi preordinati promossi dalla collaborazione tra diverse scuole di specializzazione sul tema della prova scientifica, alle comunicazioni orali e alla presentazione di poster.
Il Comitato Scientifico avrà il compito di accettare e selezionare i contributi da esporre come comunicazioni orali oppure poster e, in caso di accettazione, di comunicare agli autori il giorno, l’ora e la modalità di presentazione.
Tema: per le comunicazioni orali e i poster aranno presi in considerazione gli abstract relativi a tutte le tematiche medico legali.
Tipologie di lavori accettati: lavori di ricerca, brevi comunicazioni, case report, review.
Le comunicazioni orali devono essere esposte in lingua italiana o in lingua inglese con slide necessariamente in lingua inglese, mentre i poster possono essere scritti sia in italiano che in inglese.
Sono previsti dei premi per la miglior presentazione interscuole (Premio De Fazio), per la miglior comunicazione e per il miglior poster a tema libero. I premi verranno assegnati da una Giuria di esperti e comunicati agli Autori il 7 giugno al termine delle attività congressuali.
L’abstract dovrà essere redatto utilizzando Word per Windows (tutte le versioni), carattere Times New Roman 12, sia in lingua italiana sia in lingua inglese, seguendo lo schema riportato.

During the Congress there will be special sections in which space will be given to pre-arranged talks promoted by the collaboration between different specialisation schools on the topic of scientific proof as well as oral communications and poster presentations.
The Scientific Committee will be responsible for the acceptance and selection of contributions to be presented as oral or poster communications during the congress and, in case of acceptance, for notifying the authors of the abstracts the day, time and mode of presentation.
Themes: all medico-legal topics.
Types of paper: research papers, short communications, case reports, reviews.
Oral communications must be in Italian or English with slides necessarily in English, while posters may be written in Italian or English.
Prizes will be awarded for the best free-theme communication and for the best free-theme poster. The prizes will be awarded by a Jury of experts and communicated to the Authors on 7 June at the end of the conference.
The abstract must be written in Word for Windows (all versions), Times New Roman 12 font, in English, following the outline below.
